I normally don't post negative reviews but this will be the first. I love rewarding my dog, Hero, with treats that she loves. Even though it does give her horrible gas. Treats just give dogs gas, there is no stopping that. Variety keeps everyone happy when appropriate in small doses. I decided to take a detour from the normal treats and go with a brand I normally don't buy. They looked like my dog, Hero, would like them so I didn't hesitate to give her a whole treat.
I will admit that my dog Hero does like the Snausages Snaw Somes Beef And Chicken snacks but they are not good for her health. She simply can't digest whatever yellow stuff is in the snacks. I gave her one and she woke up in the middle of the night shivering and terrified then threw up. I gave her a fourth of one several days later and she threw up again. I refuse to give my dog something that will make her sick. Maybe it's just my dog that gets sick. So I gave them to a friend and told him the story so he would monitor the snacks accordingly. His dog threw up. The Snausages Snaw Somes Beef And Chicken snacks may be delicious to a dog but they simple cannot digest the yellow stuff.
As most dog owners I can't afford the finest quality of food but I certainly want the best for my dog within my limits. I would never purposely hurt my friend Hero so I simply cannot condone this treat, Snausages Snaw Somes Beef And Chicken. It seems they got the taste right but makes my dog sick. Every dog is different on what they can digest so I simply urge you to use caution when buying these treats for your dogs to reward them. This reward may turn into a punishment in the end.
I give this product, the Snausages Snaw Somes Beef And Chicken snacks, one out of five stars. They managed to achieve one star simply because dogs seem to love the taste.
